What we hoped for, and how far we've come. Alhamdulillah

"When a servant takes one step toward Me, I take ten steps toward them. If they walk toward me, I run toward them."

The Seerah One movement is a living testament to this Hadith. What started as a small, personal initiative to write a book on the Seerah of Rasulullah for my pre-teen daughter has evolved into a global movement impacting lives across the world.

When I printed the first 500 copies, I was not even sure if I would be able to sell them. Today, Alhumdulillah, we have sold five editions and over 10,000 copies in just three years.

The struggles along the way were real. Rejection, doubt, and mockery were all part of this journey. However, just as the life of Rasulullah teaches us resilience, I have been able to put those challenges behind me and press forward.

Despite the obstacles, I am humbled by the steadily increasing support from the Ulema, which continues to encourage us. Masjids have opened their doors for our lectures and workshops, cutting across different schools of thought. More than 10 schools across four major cities in India have now adopted the book for their high school students.

Furthermore, volunteers have stepped forward to translate the book into different languages. These volunteers have played a monumental role in our journey, taking ownership and working sincerely to drive this movement forward. Alongside them, a steady stream of well-wishers, friends, and most importantly, my family, has stood firmly by me.

Whenever I am called to deliver a lecture, I know from the bottom of my heart that this success is nothing but the Barakah and blessing of Allah. May Allah reward everyone who has supported, encouraged, and made Duas for us on this momentous journey.

Event Overview

Seerah Walk

Start your Saturday with a thoughtful and energising walk, jog, or run at your own pace, depending on your age, pace or mood.

We meet every Saturday morning at History Deccan Park, with the stunning 16th-century 7 Tombs and its 200-acre historic landscape as our backdrop.

For about 45 minutes, we move together a few in quiet zikr, some in relaxed conversation about everyday life, and others discussing the pressing political or economic issues of the day.

After the walk, we gather under a tree, sit down, and unwind with a short, uplifting story from the Seerah or the lives of the Sahaba. Nothing heavy — just a simple, meaningful conversation for about 15 minutes.

Then we head back home, refreshed and ready to enjoy the rest of the weekend. A walk for the body. A pause for the heart. A story for the soul.
